Surprising that my first journal entry here is about complaining, because normally I would introduce myself like any other newbie would. But, seeing as I really don't care, I'm not going to abide by the rules of the newb and just go straight to the point, because I NEED TO COMPLAIN.

So, I was looking through an online store that my friends recommended to me called Body Line. For awhile I have been needing to change my wardrobe and start doing what normal teenagers do: being extremely obnoxious and attention whore-ey. I may have the personality for that, but my closet doesn't. At all. In fact, my daily outfit consists of a black T-shirt with writing on it (usually about a video game) and some blue jeans. BUT WAIT. Sometimes those blue jeans have something fancy! Like, one leg might be slightly less faded than the other! OJEEZ GAIZ! ...I seem to have gone completely off-topic. SO ANYWAY. I find these really nice clothes that I would LOVE to get, but if I were to wear something so....eye-catching to school, people would swarm me like I was the greatest thing since Jesus popped out of that virgin bitch's baby canon. ...well, maybe not swarm, but people would ask me questions, give me annoying looks, or just act as if I'm completely oblivious to them and whisper REALLY LOUDLY about how OBSCENE I am then ask me stupid things like "R U DOING THAT 2 BE DIFFRANT?" or "Y IS U WARING THAT?".
After thinking OH SO VERY DEEPLY about this, I decided that I might want to change my wardrobe verrry slowly. Start wearing skirts, and nicer shirts, maybe even get more than one pair of shoes. Then I stumbled upon a simple, but out-there shirt. To describe the shirt would be like cleaning up all my video games and putting them back in the shelf in alphabetical order. It's just something I'm too lazy to do. But I will tell you that the shirt had a plaid design on it. So, I thought of all the things I had that were plaid. I have plaid slip-on shoes that would go well with it. But...I don't have any plaid pants...Then I realized "Oh! I know where I've seen some plaid pants!" Unfortunately, the place where I saw these was Hot Topic(oh lawd.). I merrily skip over to the Hot Topic website and start looking for these mythical plaid Tripp pants. While I skim through all the kind-of-cute skirts and kind-of-cool pants, I am abruptly stopped by a picture of this HOTSUPERSEXY pink peticoat-looking skirt. I think "Hmm...maybe there's something wrong with the picture?" So, I click on it only to find out that it IS a peticoat. And underneath this superomgpunk peticoat are these skin-tight SHINY-AS-A-VAMPIRE(jesus christ...) gold pants.
...
I may be a total newbie on the purpose of clothes, but aren't peticoats supposed to be worn UNDER articles of clothing? Weren't they made so they could poof up skirts or dresses to make them cuter and/or just plain less FLAT?
"BUT PETICOATS ARE SO MUCH CUTER ON THE OUTSIDE. BESIDES, OUTER-PETICOATS ARE SOOO IN RIGHT NOW."
Oh, MY LORDY GOODNES. I've made a terrible mistake then! QUICKLY CHILDREN! We must cast aside the purpose of a peticoat for the safety of FASHION. Do it before all the cool scene kids think you're lame! We can't have that happening. Those scrawny, poofy-haired, colourful assholes might just try and kick your lame, nerdy ass! (THE 80'S ERA WAS BACK IN THE 80'S, ASSHOLES. STOP TRYING TO RESSURECT THE DEAD.)

Congratulations, you just read a chapter of my thoughts, only to find out that the whole point of this was about how lame I think Hot Topic is. (it slightly reminds me of Twilight...)
